I've just noticed this on my AssMan's coaching report from one of my squad, let's call him player x:

"AssMan believes that [player x] plays best as a central defender."
"However, he does feel that [player x] is equally adept at playing as a player."

Has anybody else seen funny stuff like this? I'd imagin this is a bug. I mean, this bloke is NOT adept either as a central defender, or as a player!

I have gotten that too, and put him straight into my first team as most of them aren't adept as playing as players.

Should add that I got it on a centre-half too, so might be something to do with the position.

I've had that too on quite a few players. Not sure if I've noticed it post-patch so perhaps something that was settled?

Nope, I'm running the beta patch, so it's still not sorted.

Never mind, though. Gave me a laugh!

Before I ran the beta patch, I started a game with a Conference south team who had a player/ass man or player/coach

He told me he felt he was the strongest player in defence and had no real weaknesses. He was carp, but I liked his confidence.
