There's something about scouting and the player masking attribute that I still don't like. I manage in the Romanian leagues. My manager is Serbian (I forgot to choose a nationality and it did it automatically

). Now, what is it about being a Serbian manager on the other side of Europe that allows me to see just how good a player is at certain parts of his game? Why can I see half of this guy's attributes?
I go back to a suggestion I made last year.
I think that instead of masking a player's attributes, they should be given a range for their ability depending on how well you should know how good they are. This would also work with scouting to be somewhat more realistic and punitive on those who sign players without fully scouting them.
What I'm suggesting is this:
If you haven't properly scouted a player and have no real reason to see how good their attributes are, instead of just hiding the attributes, give them a range. For instance, if I've scouted a player for one match, and he's obviously quite decent at passing, he might have a passing attribute of 11-16. If I were to scout him a few more times, that could be narrowed down to 14-15. And after maybe three matches my scout would be able to tell me his passing was a 15.
Just my thoughts on it, anyway.
