Sorry scott - I meant the parent/feeder thingy in England. It is strictly against FA regulations and this was discussed to great lengths when FM07 came out.

The reult was that someone from SI said that the parent/feeder thing in england should be considered as "informal". The problem is , of course, that the game does not consider the link as informal.

I had hoped that the SI could fix so that in every country where such arrangements are against the rules, it would not be possible for clubs to have these sort of arrangements.

Clearly not done however.

And, by the way, posting in those god awful forums should also be banned.

Could be hard to implant (spl???) maybe? Since English club can be parent clubs, but can't be a parent club to another English team.

Its a dreadful feature, and I didnt realise it was illigit either. You cant cancel it quickly... im the boss and want to control these decisions. And what bugs me most of all is that it demontrates a complete and utter acceptance of an inferior status to another club.

Ive just been given Northwhich as a parent club (yes ... *****n Northwhich) to bow down to. I had to read it twice.
