I don't use them then. Happy?

I think it makes the game too easy as you get high-quality players for free that plays the pants off the rest of the division. There are coming loans and "parents" from the Premier/Conf National and they're walking all over the N/S tier. Don't get me started on the Championship/PL players..

So for this reason I never loan players or use players handed to me through parent clubs. Luckily I have never faced the latter problem

Yeah but when the transfer window opens in July in Ireland floods of loan players come through from England .

Pangaea,

Does it make it too easy? I think I disagree. If all the other teams in your league have a parent club and are getting decent loan players in, then it has the opposite effect you are suggesting. So why shouldn't he get a parent club?

However, if the argument is that he shouldn't be allowed them in Ireland, then I apologize. I don't know where exactly they aren't and are allowed. My only understanding of the law is from this forum, and that the home FAs don't allow their clubs to be feeders.

I'm not sure what the Irish club relationship rules are, but they aren't part of the English/Welsh/Scottish/Northern Irish set up where domestic parent/feeder relationships are banned.

True, it makes it harder for me when I don't loan in players or have parent teams, as many others are. It also means it will be easier for me if I choose to rely on loans and parent clubs. I've chosen to build my own team with my own players instead, as that is the kind of manager I am. Don't want to do well with other teams' players, and even on their wages.

One could easily argue it's not realistic, but it's a choice I have taken. I have lent players in the past, but only when I desperately need them and my scouts have no suggestions.

At leas in the current save scouts have uncovered plenty of good enough freebies, so it's not an issue. The problem is I usually get in too many players in the beginning. So when I later get in players who can actually kick a ball, I can't get rid of the shoe-shiners

I read that as you asking if Irish clubs were part of the English/Welsh/Scottish/Northern Irish set up where domestic parent/feeder relationships were banned. :o
