I've been offered yearly contracts towards the end of each season so far, except this year the press are suggesting that I might *choose* to leave (Nope, not this manager).

So for the first time, I've asked the board for a contract. It's currently June with one month left to run. I've hit or exceeded all expectations and I'm starting to worry!

Anyone else been left hanging on for a contract?

Board just renewed my contract. 7 days before it ran out. Was some speculation in the press that someone else might become manager.

Previous board told me in April I wasn't getting a new contract. Last time I renewed it with that club was somewhere in June iirc, bit had one year left back then.

The latest patch "should" ensure a contract offer 2 months before your current one expires. (or that brown thingy)

Glad I wasn't alone - I was 14 days before it ran out before they offered me a contract. I like the press speculation, but only when it's justified. Really quite put out, as I've done pretty well without setting the world alight there.

I was beginning to worry that it might be a show stopping bug. Phew!
