So me and my friend start a 2 player League 2 game. He plumbs for Wrexham and I go for Shrewsbury. Thanks to you good people on these forums I picked up some bargain buys. I put him in from the get go and he went on to score 28 goals in 44 games and become my clubs top scorer. His value went up to £650k over the season and as a result of this I re signed him with a £7.5 million buy out clause. I was happy, I had finished 9th, the off season was promising and I had slashed the wage bill. I check the news and I hear that Portsmouth had offered 1.2 million. Not enough for this wonderkid who had attracted so much interest. I refused the offer stating he was worth more. I then get the news that the chairman has deemed that this offer was too good to miss and went ahead and sold *that bloke* who left that week. Angry wasn't in it to be honest I kinda felt betrayed too but I thought what the hey I could replace him with the money for the sale. It turned out that the club would let me spend £0 of this money and as a result and in my rage I set the club an ultimatum which I ultimately lost and ended up fired.
