Has anybody tried this. I was looking at the lowest league, and it does some wacky group thing, in which the top 2 teams from the group get sent to a champions group, and the remaining group teams battle it out. In the end, I think the top 2 champion group teams get promoted, and then there is a tournament where the rest of the championship group teams and the top remaining group teams battle for the last promotion spot.

Sounds gloriously frustrating!

Last I heard about Turkish LLM was OBFG's Turkish 03/04 career which lasted until last year.

However, given the sorry state of leagues in which you must register players, I'm not considering this until they fix it.

I wasted 4 or 5 seasons in the lowest Turkish tier back in FM07.
I got into the Champs group once, but them I had to play the Turkish cup in the following season so I promised myself never to reach that group again.

Got sacked a year later iirc I had an updatethread on my 07 save, but I have nfi where it is.

No experience with the Turks yet. Registration of players is a bit tricky with the Italian lower leagues which are not mentioned in the league rules: only 1 foreigner registered per year (so you can pile them over time, not all at once). Portuguese is pretty complex, similar to the UEFA rules.
