i got a problem i bought rooney frm man-u and it ses hes cup tied but i thought how can he be i just bought him help!!

Its not rocket science mate. He's already played a game in that competition for Man Utd.

If its the Champions League he's cup-tied for, he probably played in a Qualifying Round of the CL for United as they didnt finish top or 2nd the previous season.
