Console titles have to be passed by the console manufacturer, this involves them repeatedly playing the title to 'completion' - obviously this implies that the game has an 'end' to it somewhere.

In prior surveys of our users very few reach 30 seasons in a single game so it seemed a reasonable cut-off point (and as has been mentioned is pretty realistic) ... we also do our best to make things interesting at the end by providing stats and a summary of your career etc.

What happens at the end of your 30 seasons then?

Do you get a message or is it just 'the end'. Like retiring on the PC?

On PSP the furthest I've got is 2015.

At the end of the game you get some summary statistics of your career and also a small text indicating how your life went upon your retirement from football ...

If you did well expect something glamourous ... if you did, errr, less well then then expect to be managing a pub

(its done somewhat 'tongue in cheek' along the lines of the 'addiction ratings' in FM PC)
