Just a thing which just happened to me whilst playing my tottenham game i looked at my news and it said something about tottenham signing a new player however i had not bidded for anyone is this a bug and has it happened to anyone else?

Yeah that happened to me a few times, happened in the last edition aswell, hopefully it gets fixed

It's not a bug, it's the chairman bidding for your players most likely. Just go on the player screen, go on transfer offer, and withdraw offer.

i noticed this happens after i save the game in transfer window. then say i play another game or whatever... then when i load fmh game, a few days later i usually get that kind of thing... just cancel it...

This has happenend to me too but I don't see it as a problem. I think it'S a way of introducing you to players who you might not know about otherwise and you can always withdraw the offer.

this happened to me and i was curios as to see whether this player would be any good so i completed the transfer . turned out to be useless and i released him by the end of the season.
My advice dont let the chairman buy your players!!!!
