Without more context its not really possible to explain whats happening.

The most common cause is a Mourinho type situation where you might be performing ok overall for a team that size but spending at a huge rate - this will increase pressure on your job a lot and a poor start to a season in those circumstances can often lead to an abrupt sacking .. ask Jose how he feels irl
