I got the game, this is the first time i have ever really played football manager, I have no real problems with the game, i think it looks great, but i think im the problem (being thick as i am) i dont really understand all the task bars (for example im trying to find this task bar where you can select your coaches to do traing / handle resvres etc - i found it once - then from there after - i cant find it)

Then for some reason three of my players were put on the transfer list (i did not command that)

+ i dont know where to find the players listed for loan

If anyone give give me a little adivce please - i would be very greatful, or i will just have to sell the game - and go back to lma manager 2005 - which i do not want to - as FM2006 looks great - but im just finding it really hard to get into....

(P.s about one & half years ago - i bought a PC mag - called Football manager for the PC version - does any one know if that is being still sold - or was it a one off?)

Don't worry, I've played every Champ/FM game since 1994 and I found the 360 version a little 'fiddly' at first. You get used to it in a couple of days though.

I'll try answer your questions.. *boots up the 360 again*

To select who handles the other teams, go to your main squad screen (LB button, then select your team name on the list, 2nd option down I think), then select Manager - Options, et viola!

If you mean you want to find the training section though, simply go to your main squad screen and hit RB then scroll down to: Sections - Training - Coaches

Some teams start off with players on the transfer list, the game goes on the logic that the previous manager put them there.

To search for players that are listed just for loan, hit LB at any time and scroll down to Player Search. Then hit the X button and select the first option ('Customise General Rules'), then scroll down to Transfer Status. Select it with A and you'll be able to change it to Listed For Loan. Then hit X again when yer done.

I dunno of an FM mag, there was a Championship Manager mag at one time, though I don't know how long it lasted for.

There are no plans for another edition of the FM magazine at this time but we did release various issues over the years.
