Can you not shrink the scoreboard, get rid of the benches and things and make it full screen so it isn't all close together and hard to look at?

Redblood - we're open to ideas for the next version. I personally think it looks really good on a normal TV (and have mainly played on a portable one).

What do other people playing on normal TV's think?

I think its ok just a bit cramped, maybe you could release a new skin which spaces things out abit

I think everything but the match day looks great.

Aslo for next version would it be possible to switch between the Pitch and your selected screen quicker (e.g. Player Ratings and the Pitch)?

First off I have to say the game is amazing, how you guys captured such detail with quicker loading times than my 3ghz Athlon/2gh RAM beast is beyond me!

But the match engine was a slight shock, the players are slightly too large (my normal TV displays the pitch in a bordered-sides 'widescreen' effect, maybe this is why?), the game is still great but it creates a slight issue when a few players are crowded together.

But the player names help this and it's still a terrific feat both for console gaming and standard TV's everywhere. So congrats and thank you SI for bringing FM onto my console!

Is the pitch 'stretched out' to more PC resolution on a HDTV though?

Redblood - with HD, you can have split screen, so it's a lot easier. There simply isn't the resolution to do that on SDTV, so you need to go to the tactics menu to see it. The speed is as fast as we've been able to make it thus far, but we're always looking at optimising every area of the game.

Jon1983uk - yes, it is.

The game was primarily developed on SDTV's though - we only switched to HD for the last couple of months.

Please do keep the feedback coming - it is being taken on board

Is this the same match engine for the PC FM2006? It reminds me more of the PC version of FM2005.

The match engine is poor on a standard TV. Its not a killer and you do get used to it, but its poor. The player dots are to big, when ever there is more than 5 dots in the box you can forget seeing where the ball is going until either its a goal or a corner kick.

Everything else is great, profiles and text and stuff all clear to read no probs there.

Yes it's the same as 6.0.3

We'll be gathering a lot of feedback from this version then sitting down and discussing what to do for the future. Keep those ideas coming!

Would the res used for the 2d pitch on the PC version suit a standard TV version better than a full sized screen res. just might help sort out the big dot problems.
