joined game fine, loaded it, game crashed, turned off / back on, now cant get connected to server again, i'm not on strict nat either i sorted that out, surely this is a bug with the server / game ??

I believe it may down to the fact that the 'hosting' user hasn't setup his/her modem/router to allow the connection (uPnP enabled, or manually setting up the port-forwarding if the equipment doesn't support uPnP)

In a quick nutshell, your request in joining the host is being rejected as his/her equipment. It doesn't know where to send the data within his/her network; and/or is being refused because there is no rules inplace to allow the traffic to parse within his/her network

right i've done all the before m8, when you go into test network connections, my nat has changed from strict to moderate, anyone managed to change this to open ? bt help are a waste of time btw

I'm pretty sure thats the problem. I can host games but can't join them and i have my i.p. behind a DMZ and al neccessary things checked.

It must be down to the host not having the requierd fields openend or... well, server problems?

but surly if it was a case with the router not being set up properly,it would be the case with all xbox 360 games, it should be easy to set up, so many people having thsi problem,its strange

ok, i have no idea. From previous times i would say it was the problem, if a game has 2 people in it i'm fine, i find the cups/leagues with 1 player don't work.

However, it happens far too often and DMZ is problem most people on LIVE are common with.
