umm...may be wrong here, but irrespective of receipt, surely SI should replace your disc for you if it is in good nick and not working
Sorry, we don't do that. We don't have lots of copies of the game around the office or the people to administer such a service.
If the shop won't exchange it then I can only suggest calling SEGA Technical Support and the number should be in your game manual.
And please don't open another topic on the same thing so that we can keep the forums nice and tidy.

plus i have no reciept .
You don't need a reciept you just need to be able to prove that you bought the game from GAME (credit card statement, bank statement, also returning to the shop with the game in a GAME bag should help - rather than having it lose or in a Woolworths bag).
If the game is faulty then they have to replace it. (Provided you didn't break it).
* of satisfactory quality goods must meet the standard that a reasonable person would regard as satisfactory, taking account of any description of the goods, the price and all other relevant circumstances. The quality of goods includes, for instance, their appearance and finish, their safety and their durability. Goods must be free from defects, even minor ones, except where these defects have been brought to your attention by the seller. Perhaps the goods are being sold as 'shop-soiled
Provided you can show you bought it from GAME, they have to replace the game (or refund it) - speak to the manager if the kid wont replace it, if they still wont replace it report them to the oft and complain to head office. (At worse you'll get nothing or some useless GAME vouchers, at best you'll get a working game).
