Hi

i read some of the stories of the FM Forum - and noticed most people on there turn down contract extensions unless they get a nice wage per week & not a rolling contract, what i wanted to know was why do people want more money per week as a manager - is there a purpus?

I was playing with chelsea 1st season on 45k per week 1 year contract - win prem lge, fa & lge cups + champions lge and chelsea offer me 2 year contract on 38k per week (7k lower) is there a reason for that? should i of asked for more money?

Also someone told me in Gamestation shop you can be a chairman on football manager - is this true?

chairman :p he told you a lie i think... and as for wages, the less wages they pay you, the more money you have for players... or maybe i'm wrong, i'll accept any wage as long as the transfer budget is right

Just one more thing - can you ask the chairman for more money on this version?

if so then how? - as i have just left chelsea to manged Dortmund and i only have 10mil and there squad is tiny

if im at a lower club i always make it lowest age possible as the funds come out of the club meaning you may not have as much money to spend . highly doubt it will affect it that much tho.

on the handheld version of the game i heard you get offered into the board after 10 years of service to the same club which makes you immune from getting the sack. I am unsure if it works on the 360 version though.

cool, never heard this.. might have to check it out, 10 years is a long time though, can anyone confirm or deny this ??
