Hi,

I love this game spent a good few hours playing and building up Man City. However the game has frozen on three occasions, I check with a few people on XBOX.com and nonone else has had this problem. Each time it has happened I have been in the middle of a watching a game with full highlights. I have used the RB /LB to get to a menu clicked on a option, ie tactics, or my details and the screen has redrawn with the header banner but no other data. I have left it for 5 /10 mins and nothing. I have tried RB/LB but nothing so I have turned the system off. Any ideas is it a potential hardware fault ?

I have had it freeze on me once and that was in the first hour of playing, it hasn't done it since.

its froze on me a number of times, usually when I press the media button when a match is being played

This could (sadly) by an error with the console. In my experience, the 360 isn't the most reliable of beasts. I've lost count of the amount of times peope have said PGR 3 crashed on them for example.

I'll go through the mini cheklist of things that could help/hinder:

Check your power supply, if the box is hot get it off the ground pronto!

My disk drive makes all my discs come out darn hot, I dunno if this is normal?

And try avoiding using the 'X'/'Media' button too often, on the rare ocassions my 360 has frozen, it's usually been 'cos of that.

I always set up music on it when the game's loading as it bypasses loading time and means I don't run a slight risk of it freezing on me later (this being same for all games, not just FM I hould point out ).

keeping the console off the ground, and it's airflows on the sections not underneath unobstructed is important. also keep the powerpack off carpet and stuff like that. it can overheat pretty easy.

It's happened a few times to me, played for a few hours last night and it happened three times, once when i clicked to play game it froze on the tactics and team shot before a match, once going into team talk at half time and once whne going into a player profile. each time the back ground has remained and the four colour buttons at the bottom have been there, but nothing else. Strangely, on the first crash, I could still use the lb/rb buttons, but nothing else worked. Left it ten minutes, nothing happened. This has never happened on any of my other games. Minor fault, the game's brilliant, just make sure I save now.

its never happened to me with any game yet except oblivion. that has frozen while loading a few times.

Please help its happened again last night. I Played one game League cup with just goal highlights. Then a watched a full Leugue game making changes on the the way (5th Straight league win with Man City) got to the end game team talk set the comment pressed blue button and the game screen darked out and the Processing Icon game up and the game froze. Its driving me crazy I love this game. I have been told there is a way to empty the cache by holding the blue button during loading, will this help ?

only had this crash once, and that was while playing online.. this guy i know seems to think his game crashes quite a bit though, not sure if it does, or if he's just impatient

you can always tell if the game has frozen, or the whole console. if pressing the xbox guide button thingy does nothing, the console has frozen. not the game.
