i've just got myself a VGA cable, allowing 1280x1024 on my PC monitor as opposed to the 480p on normal TV i was running on, and my enjoyment of the game has gone way up.

mainly cause the match engine looks so amazing! the size of the players on screen is brilliant. even on the PC, at times they all sort of merged cause of the size. on a standard TV with the 360 it's worse, but then only so much you can do at that res. but with the res bumped up on the 360 its excellent

People without HD will not have the full information off each page. Which i think is awfull. I play FM on a samsung 32" HD and it is pure quality amazing. I have just took my 360 upstairs while the bitch watches tv and quite frankly its a rip off. Most of the information i had on HD was not available on normal TV and I mean a lot of information so much so that I couldnt even begin top play this game without 1080i.I really do feel sorry for people who bought this game without HD.For instance if you are on your home page you can only see 2 sections Next opponent and something else LOL scandelous on 1080i you can see everything on one page without the need to move up and down this is a good example. If you go to your team then training shedules you press Y to go to your players in the that training session then if you press up on D-pad the stats change well on a normal tv most of the information is missing. I was trying to explain to a freind how you can see little yellow lines for each attribute of the training program STR, AER, BALL, TAC, DEF and so on to the right hand side of each player when you keep pressing up on the D-pad these change to yellow,orange and Green arrows to indicate the progress being made in each attribute on normal tv this is not availible not just that but you can only see 3 sections of the players profile in the training section i.e his position his age and his nationality on HD you can see a lot more. As i have HD im not really bothered as it doesnt affect me but None of my freinds have it and they cannot believe the ammount of information not available to them and frankly they feel ripped off. if you gonna get this game make sure you play on HD. And why the **** would you want to play your 360 on your pc monitor why dont you just buy the PC version I dont see the point in playing a 360 on a ****in tiny monitor just get a HD tv.

I play FM on a normal telly with my 360. It can be a bit cumbersome flicking between screens but I can't say it ruins my enjoyment of the game any. Jusdt takes me a few seconds longer between continues that it would if I had HD.

i play it on a tv which is about 12 years old - plays fine to me - had no problems at all.

but is there a better scart cable you can buy for the xbox which is better then the scart you get in the premuim pack?

Well to be honest a 360 is a million times faster than my computer, and i cant afford a HD tv, so id rather have the speed and hook it up to my moniter than pay extra for a HD tv.#
Also i would like the the xbox live options , which you cant get on the pc version as of yet

so it would be better for me personally to use a moniter and get it for my 360 than just the pc version

he's also talking rubbish and there is no info whatsoever missing on a standard TV versus a HDTV. you might need to scroll a bit more, but there is absolutely nothing missing.
