another thing which is annoying is that I have always liked to play my matches of SI manager games with the commentary only but now with this version of the game it has been made essential to watch your matches to try to see if you need to adjust tactics! I am not in favour of this idea!

also i would just like someone to confirm something for me, when playing this on a high def TV, does the tactics screen look the same as the PC version? On my TV the defenders are positioned at the half-way line and the central midfielders are positioned in the attacking midfield area! I thought this may be because my TV isnt HD ready!

if you cant win, the fault lies with your players, your tactics, or you. simple as that. unless you have a copy with issues the rest of us dont have.

either way, these can be put down to you being a bad manager.

I know the highlights option seems to pick out some of the most annoying misses and world-class saves known to man, but in retrospect it's not that far from the truth.

Even the best fluff it up from time to time. And I've only ever counted probably 4-5 chances tops from any one player in Highlights mode, which is about accurate for yer average match performance.

Though with this point, FM '06 text commentary-only option seems pretty much identical in gameplay terms to previous efforts. You read the text, you check the player stats, you make subs accordingly.

yes but for many tactics it now relies on weather opposing players are getting forward often which is something that i wouldnt know if i didnt watch the matches!

there is no need to watch the matches. i play some as commentary only and have no problems. the fact is your just not very good at this game.

Nope! I just got the game on the PC the other day and I played it with the same team and tactics and my team played much better and we actually won when we deserved to win! So i think the problem is just with the 6.0.3 patch or else just the Xbox 360 version!

6.0.3 and the 360 version are the same do know what you mean sometimes with unbelieavable results, but not all the time
