My celtic game screwed up and didn't save properly (corrupted) and it froze on one of the fixture screens I tried to continue but it froze. In my annoyance with the game I went away for 10 minutes ( without switching it off) and when I got back i checked if the game would work and it actually did.This is no joke but may be a one of thing.

this was posted by myself, then later confirmed by someone at si, in a thread the other day.. maybe someone needs to create a sticky explaining this

game seems to have saved really fast, when in fact it is still saving but the screen has changed to fixtures/squad etc .. people with no patience think it has crashed when it hasn't, they turn off and corrupt the data as its only half saved

so in short, if you think your game has crashed wait 5mins, and never turn off the computer while saving

and on that note is it true that live is down till 9.00 2night for maintenance ?

Same thing happened to me the other night. Went to save the game, it looked like it worked then when it came back to the fixture screen nothing would work.

I left it for 10 mins game back and it worked fine!!
