I can't understand why there seems to be sooo many goals in this new verious of FM. I will win a game by 2-3 goals and then lose a game by 2-3-4 goals. For example my results in the last 5 games as follows:
ASTON VILLA 4 middlesboro 3
ASTON VILLA 5 sunderland 2
portsmoth 3 ASTON VILLA 5
ASTON VILLA 3 arsenal 2
newcastle 6 ASTON VILLA 2
I'm playing a standard 4-4-2 formation. solid def of evra, rafinha, garay and laursen, with david James in goal! Why is there so many goals! its like playing some cheap 1990s management game.
To say i'm dissapointed with FM2008 would be a understatement! please get a patch to recify this!
are u kinding! david james has excellent stats. and have used him before on FM and has been one of my most outstanding goalkeepers! besides with the defense! he should hardly have to do anything!

You'll have a hard job getting that, half the complaints are from people not scoring at all.
