I did that once and had a mutiny on my hands so i then got fed up and put them all up for sale and offered them free transfers too.
I got the sack in a week but i thought it was funny.

It is so utterly retarded. No matter what you say some players will have a good reaction and some will have a bad reaction.

I just won the league and got a media item asking if I would be staying or moving on to bigger things. Of course I said I would stay. The result ? Some of my players are now UNHAPPY because they feel I wont have any ambition? what the **** ?

Unless you no comment on everything you get bad publicity to your players even then you run the risk of alienating ones complaining about dodgy decisions I had one player hate me because I complained about his red card appealed had it rescinded and checked his personal page hoping for some gratitude and it had "thinks manager has stired up unnesesary controversy." what a tool so I got rid of him lol

I'm getting so bloody sick of players complaining about everything, I never comment about anything anymore in order to maintain morale. Which is stupidly unrealistic.

TBH, why should the players even care if I praise or insult another manager. They should just get on with their jobs which is to play football and not to feel bad about something I've said

On FM07, I enjoyed continued success, with little or no problems with the players and enjoyed my "Media Shy" reputation.

FM08 I'm doing the same. :thup:

PS... Ever notice how Sir Alex and Big Sam never talk to the BBC? We all know it's because of programmes about transfer and agent malpractice that could'nt be substantiated. Shame you cans get the assistant to talk to the press and pass the buck in FM too!!

i can't understand the 'he's enjoying his football and I hope his good form it continues' is piling too much pressure on a player? He must be a very weak minded person to think someone saying he is enjoying his football is piling on pressure?
