don't play english leagues all that often, but i've noticed that i can't approach players with a contract when they have six months left to go. At what point am i able to approach them to sign on a free?

thats strange as im in march..and ive got a couple of english premier league players to sign on a free in july

If you are playing in England, you cant approach a potential free agent in England till 6 weeks before the end of his contract. You can approach other potentail free agents outside England 6 months before.
