Maybe just get over it? Not all players will want to move abroad at such a young age especially with high loyalty stats.

Just because you're Liverpool or another big club, doesn't give you the divine right to sign every player that you want.

I have had this with EVERY player who is under 17.
Even unkown players with low PAs cannot be signed this way. They ALWAYS agree to stay with their current club, it's stupid. Even when AI teams try and sign them!

He has clearly stated that the player has said he'd want a move. I had the same problem with the same player. If he turned me down by saying he doesn't want to move then fair enough. It's just that whenever the deal looks like it's about to go through he signs a new contract with Bordeaux. So he basically signs three new contracts in a month if you bid three seperate times.

He said he would consider it. After much consideration, perhaps he decided he didn't want to spend three years in Liverpool reserves before being sold to Crewe.

It happened to me too
I waited him to sign pro contract then signed him for 6 million euro.
By the way, the squad status must be at least first team..

what bugs me is when i try to sign a good player and offer him €25k a week and hten he goes off and signs for someone else for only €13k. the bonuses package i have on offer is also better than the one he accepted.
before anyone says it i know club reputation has an influence on it but i still get annoyed

BUt that reflects real life, not all players (although most will) don't sign for a club just because they offer the most money. The clubs rep like you mention, the country compaired to his nationality etc should and i think do have an influence in the game.

Tbh, the age should give a clue. I doubt many young players would want to leave their own country at such a young age to play elsewhere. I know I wouldn't have gone to Spain or France alone at 17 - not to live, anyway.
I know it happens IRL (Fabregas, et al), but not all young players are going to feel that adventurous - especially if they are already at a club that aren't exactly bad.

Shall I tell you what's wrong with this forum? The problem has already been answered properly but it's just been ignored.

The correct answer is that the player has signed a pre-contract with his current club and so will turn down any offer you make until the contract takes effect on his 17th birthday.
