Could we not have a system where you're asked a series of questions and then, depending on what you answer, a tactic is generated for you? I'm sure you guys will find a load of reasons for this not to be a very good idea, but I think it would be cool. It would certainly be more interesting than constantly adjusting sliders.

The slider method is the closest thing you'll get to the real life words that come from a manager.

A real life manager, doesn't exactly tell someone how they want to play and then they come back with tactic that fits that. The manager has to go out and work on it themselves.
