So, I decided to make a sub the other day. After confirming the changes I wanted, I switched back to the pitch view. It was late in the game and so I had my highlight mode set to Full so I could react to anything the opposition might try. Anyway, in the middle of play, my striker who I've just subbed, is dribbling the ball on the left wing/channel. He just stops dribbling, leaving the ball their, runs all the way across the field, and off the pitch, and his replacement runs onto the pitch! Of course, the game is continuing, and so the opposition take the ball, advance down my left - their right - and score! Has anything like this ever happened to anyone else?

The only stange thing I saw was after conceding a goal my players surrounded the linesman and the opposition took the kick off.

Sorry, wasn't intelligent enough to think of that, but strange stuff seems to happen to me everyday, and you can be sure I'll save the next one.

Something that happens all the time, is replays of phantom goals.

Go to your fixtures screen and click on the score from this match - if it's recent enough you can still save it.

Then please start a thread in the bugs forum and upload the saved match to SI's FTP so it can get looked at.

I don't quite remember which game it was tho'. Guess I'll have to search through my season fixtures...

I had something (sort of) similar happen to me yesterday on my FM07 game, albeit my own fault in a way -

Near the end of the game, we're winning 1-0 (I'm Atletico Madrid) and my GK fouls outside the box resulting in a straight red. I take off Aguero for a new 'keeper and play as a 4-4-1 Defensive, thinking I'll hold out to the end all being well.

Next thing I realize that my GK Leo Franco is bloody playing up front and Fernando Torres (ah, the joys of FM07!) is playing in nets, this is because I always have Torres and Aguero swapping positions throughout the match.
In blind panic I quickly try to sort out the situation and swap the players back. Just then the opposition win a corner.

It's at this point that GK Torres and ST Leo Franco decide to swap back to their proper positions.
As they are running up and down the pitch respectively, the AI can't believe their luck and quickly take the corner, scoring into an open net.

Cost me two priceless league points, that little moment of madness on my part.

on 05 sometimes the game decided to make my substitutions when the ball was in play, i had 3 players strolling off the pitch while the opposition walked the ball into the net
