Hi, I've recently taken the Israel job with 4 games to go in the World Cup Qualifiers but baring a major **** up by Poland in not getting a point at home to latvia or away at germany (and i still have to get a result in germany as well), i notice after the end of the quals there is a friendly home to Luxembourg.
to be honest i am not too enamoured with that, and i am wondering if there are any reprecussions to cancelling a friendly either board wise or money wise?
As i dont really see the point of playing luxembourg, as i only have 99 pos players to pick from with 20 or so being regens on another 30 or so being v crap, so i only have i think about 25 players for my squad, s.
the benifit of course is to try out some players but what wqill i learn against luxembourg, i would rather spend the time concerntrating on my faltering start to retaining the prem with everton, and fine tuning a few bits, so i am in favour of cancelling and just wonder is there any repercussions,
apologise if this seems a bit rambling am in middle of long shift at work!
unless its changed from 07 there are no finances or anything in international and i doubt they would care if you cancelled it. why not just play it and use your subs. a win would increase morale
