Default Getting a new job!!!

If you're under contract with a team, can you apply for another team and still be under contract, or do you have to resign first?

Another thing; if a team has a coach vacancy (they sacked him) can this team approach you without you applying for the job, or the only way to get the job is to apply from your end?

You can apply for other jobs but be careful of upsetting your current club. They like loyalty it would seem.

You will occassionally get offered other jobs as well (at least this was the case in previous FM's) ranging from lower to national ones

----everything i say is not gospel------------

Apply for one job - no problem.
Apply for too jobs - your board will become concerned.
Apply for 10 jobs - they will ask you to resign.

It's been my experience that if you are listed in a news item as a candidate who is linked to a job at a different club (along with other candidates), you will have a better chance of getting the new job if you apply. If you resign from your current contract, that chance goes up even higher because the new club won't have to pay your existing club any money to buy out your contract.

Tip: When you want to apply for jobs but don't want to upset your current club, go on holiday for a day when there are some available. Make sure you have "Apply for jobs at higher clubs" set on Holiday settings (providing you are after a better club) and it'll apply for you. Your board never notice. They probably assume your Assistant applied.
