Image Extraction Request? Post #1 | | Guest | Image Extraction Request?
Hello,
Can someone extract this image of my girlfriend for me please? All I want is the two girls without the background. I tried using the 'magic extractor' in photoshop, but I found it hard to get the edges of the girls looking good. I plan to put it onto a black background so that their hair will blend into the surrounding colour.
Thankyou,
BJ

Hi Bastos_Jnr ,
I can do it but don't because i want you to try the other tools and make nice selection of the image you want.
Do not use magix wand, use quick selection/paint mode, magnetic lasso, pen tool. If you want to do it with magic wand then lower the tolerance ratio.
If you want to know how to use these tools and make nice selections then search this site ( begginers tutorials section). If you are unable to find tutors on this site ask Gaussian, he will definitely help you.
Try these first, even though your unable to do the job then ask for help.......we will see. Quote:

If you'd asked for help doing this, that's a different story altogether.
If you want to try this yourself, I would suggest you learn to use the pen tool. This will give you the best control over the edge of where you want to create the extraction selection. The only place where it will be hard is around the hair because they are against a dark background and they have dark hair. Although, you could probably just fake it using the pen tool and it would look fine. You might also try to "extract" tool if you wanted to, but personally, I never liked it. Don't hesitate to post your work or ask specific questions if you run into trouble with it.
Good luck, welcome to PSG.

Yes mindblender may be your wright, i agree with you if someone want his/her work to be done by anyone then he should pay for because he don't know about the time we spend on his/her work.
If we do it for free he/she will not know what are the problems we were facing to finish his/her work.
So finally i want to say is, if any one asks for help(he/her should be newbie) and only should ask for help to finish their work.
(Or)
If you only ask for your work to be done and need no help then you have to post how much money you can pay for your work,so it can be done by the Guru's. Quote: |
This message is not only to you Bastos_Jnr but also to everyone who want his work to be done by the guru's
