Default Adding item to image / Deleting background items???

I have these images I am considering, however I need to learn some techniques, and see if what I envisioned is possible. Well, I know it is possible, just wondering if I can do it \:/.

BILLBOARD(s) - I want to put an image on there, but skew it so it looks like it is really on there. How do I go about doing that? What technique do you suggest?

CHAIR - Pretty simple. I want to remove that flower and book from this photo. Now the flower is no problem, but how do I erase that book and still keep the texture of that chair?

The clone tool is well suited for this job. Use additional tools if needed to fine adjust.

This isn't a flat surface that the book is resting on. It will be way way way more involved than just cloning out the object. The entire top of the chair will have to be painted in by hand or moved in from another reference image. Not a quick job, especially if you are new to Photoshop. It would definitely be an interesting challenge though.

Feel free to have a different opinion, I don't have a problem with that.

I don't see what you're seeing Mindbender. This appears to me to be a relatively simple 'no brainer'. \:/
An easier 'do' with cs3 yet still quite fundamental with 7. Please share...

Yeah, pretty much my thoughts Ron (and I did try before I suggested cloning).

1) Bam Billboard, so you wanna put some image to the Board.Firstly i want to mention here something plz post your current PS version,it would be very helpfull to solve your request by the PSG's.

So now i can tell only in CS3 try it if lower version makes it possible.

In CS3 you can wrap, distort, perspective images......not in older versions.

TO exactly fit the image to the board with good perspective select the image you wanted to put on the board and hit Ctrl+t on keyboard that makes you to edit the shape of your image.

Now hold ctrl key(command key) on the key-board and move the end points to make the image fit on the Billboard screen. If you perpectly done this then rest of the work to make it nice is in your hands.

2)Chair you mean pretty simple, that doesn't seem's to me the chair is in dark and you can reove the book from the chair without messing the texture by making selections in different ways and using cloning tool, smudge, blurr to make the texture perfect.(but that isn't so easy for new or begginers).

I hope this message will provide you sufficient information for your request.

Have a nice time here in PSG and thanks to the Guru's

I am sorry. I am using CS2. And I tried what you suggested (control+t, etc.) and it worked. Thanks!

I was actually able to do both, so I guess both questions were answered. Now I just have to figure out this Illustrator....lol.

I did the clone tool. Well, let me backup. I tested the clone tool. I understand that image was small, and there was that watermark. Once I purchase the larger, higher resolution image, I am sure I can get it done. And the billboard was pretty simple as well. I didn't know about the control+t.

Is there a good post which lists all the photoshop keyboard shortcuts? How about a forum like this for illustrator?
