Hello everyone,

I am new to photoshop. I currently have photoshop 6.0 and i dont know how to get to the "blending mode" or "color dodge" . I have been reading the forum and found one post about changing a photo into a picture. It is quite neat, I tried it but i couldnt find the "color dodge" control and i could not finish. :cry: Can someone show me how to get to 'Blending made' or "color dodge"

Take a look in the layers palette just above the layers themselves. It will say "normal" in the drop-down menu until you change it. That entire area are the "blending modes"... inside there will be the "color dodge" blending mode.

Should all pretty much be covered in the manual / help files. Blending modes are really powerful tools to master for doing image editing.
