I'm a student at Uni just now and I have to write up a short (ish) essay on scripting in Photoshop and wondered who exactly was making use of scripting in Photoshop. Is it a workplace thing or are people using scripting at home? Should Universities and colleges be teaching more photoshop scripting? I would like to look into making scripting easier for non-programmers (I don't even know if this is possible) but it would be a pointless excercise if very few people actually use it!
Please let me know your thoughts!

I think if scripting would get more attention and would be easer to use, that more people would be interested.
In my experience few Photoshop users actually know that Photoshop scripting exists.

Interesting point - thanks for that. I only heard about it a few weeks ago but it interested me so much I'm now looking deeper into it.
