You're confusing things and because of that you've gotten the wrong answer from me. Let me first tell you that although there is a product called
Adobe Photoshop Elements that seems to be related to
Adobe Photoshop, they're basically different products and Adobe Photoshop Elements is not Adobe Photoshop with just some of the features removed, Adobe Photoshop Elements is designed from scratch and also does several things in a different way.
Although the title of your post mentions Photoshop CS2, you posted a question related to Photoshop Elements 2.0 which is a different product. Also understand that Adobe Photoshop Elements version 2 is not a downgraded version of Photoshop CS2, just because you see both carry the number 2 in their name.
The latest version of Adobe Photoshop Elements is version 5, the latest Adobe Photoshop version is CS2. The actual version number of Photoshop CS2 is 9.
Blame Adobe for making it confusing for their potentials customers and trust me? you?re not the first or last one who is confused.
As for the selection brush tool of Adobe Photoshop Elements; it?s not available in any version of Adobe Photoshop. Only the upcoming Photoshop CS3 will have a similar tool, called Quick Selection Tool.
