Default Experience of "sitegrinder" plug-in?

I read about a PS plugi n called site grinder that makes a website from your PSD file. Sounds good to me that rather desing then learn HTML or dreamweaver. Can anyone tell me if you are satisfied with the results? can you actually make good enough websites? Are there and drawbacks? How flexible is it? Are there any examples?

It's a good product and yes, you can design reasonable web sites with it, but it's very limited and not all that flexible as they make it seem. This won't be a problem if you have a web site with only a handful of pages, but if you run sites with hundreds of pages, if not thousands, then Sitegrinder really starts to show its limitations.
If you really dislike coding a web site, then stick to WYSIWYG programs like Dreamweaver; study on it for a few hours and you can already make pretty descent web sites. It also offers all the tools to take your designs to a higher level any time. You really don't need to know HTML to design a web site either. And even if you need some HTML answers then just putting a Dreamweaver HTML page in code view is enough to get those answers. Dreamweaver's help is also extremely useful; just a shift+F1 when your cursor is on a HTML tag and you get a detailed explanation. It's not as cheap as Sitegrinder, but trust me... in this case you get what you pay for.

You can obviously afford Photoshop, so I assume Dreamweaver could be an option for you too. Even if you decide in the future that you dislike WYSIWYG and rather prefer working in code view, then you haven?t wasted any money since Dreamweaver is one of the best code editor around, not just for HTML, but also CSS and PHP.

So if you have a limited budget, plan to a design small site and if web design is not going to be any regular activity, then Sitegrinder is a perfect choice.
