Hello.
I'm trying to help a friend with a PS CS2 problem (I'm a network consultant, so naturally I get called for application support \:/)
This a new computer with fresh install of Photoshop. When she chooses Print with Preview and sets up all the parameters within the dialogue, and finally clicks print, the job goes straight to the printer (Epson 1440). She told me that on the old computer it would produce a preview as indicated and she could check colors, sizing, etc, before sending the job to print.
Can anyone offer any suggestions? I've gone through and can't see any changes to be made that would enable this feature.

I'm sorry, but I did not get if the print with preview does give her a preview, no?

Well thats what I'm confused about. In the Print with Preview screen, there is a small preview of the photo, but according to my friend she used to have a full size preview pop up before the job went to the printer. On this larger preview she could see how the image was going to look on paper before printing it. Does that make sense?
