hi im new to photoshop and i need a bit of help

basically i need a step by step guide on how to add a tan to someone and how to make someone look slimmer

so if anyone could help me out i would really appreciate it, im using photoshop CS2

aside from adjustment layers, I've been working on doing some adjustments with brushes. This is a very simplified example.
Actually a lot of thought has to go into the contrast steps. But you can eventually come up with a formula that works consistantly. As for 'thinning', That's a whole different matter. I'll try to give you some pointers tomorrow
