Hello everyone, I spent a bit of time on the board and I must say that you are all so talented. That being said, I am actually looking for help. I do not "own" Photoshop, but I did download a 30 day free trial yesterday, but only so that I could possibly correct a problem I have on a family photo. I haven't attached the photo because I'm not sure if this is the right place to do so. It seems that my daughter was a bit overzealous with her makeup for this shot and it looks like she's the guy from "Soul Man", the movie.
Anyway, I haven't a single clue how to shade her face so that it matches the rest of her skin on her body. Is there anyone out there who can help? I will post the pic if anyone cares to give it a try!
Can`t really tell too much rfrom that image, but if your daughter is the one in the purple dress, I would first suggest that you select her face and use the Curves dialog(CTRL+M) and adjust the curve up slightly.

You can E-mail the image at the E-mail address that I attached as an image (to avoid spam) and I will make sure that everyone can have a look at it. Right now it's just too small to make any suggestions.
I emailed the image as asked. Someone here at work tried to help out with the picture, but didn't revert it to the original after altering the color on her face. She is the one in the purple dress. The original picture is still on my camera, which I don't have here at work. If you can't do anything with this picture, I will email the original, unaltered picture on Monday.
