Default Jagged edges from rotating.

Hello, I am new to these forums, but not new to photoshop or graphic design. As the title says, lately my photoshop has been displaying rotated images with jagged/distorted edges. Now, I have not had this problem previously in the 8years I have been using photoshop, I am sure there is a simple fix to this, which I haven't really tried to fix. Any help would be apprecaited. I'm wondering if it is my monitor..?

I've noticed sometimes when I rotate an image, it reduces the screen size. Have you tried viewing it at actual pixels after the rotate?

Are the jagged edges showing up after you use the Image/rotate command or after you use the transform/ rotate command? If you manually rotate the image w/transform and are the slightest bit off it will have a jagged edge. Using the rotate command that shouldn't happen. I'm assuming in both cases that you are rotating the images either 90 or 180 degrees. Other increments can be a bit messy.

I usually use the transform / rotate from the edit drop down menu. I notice that even still when I use the "Rotate 90o" it deforms the text, image, etc. I'll play around with the settings and see what happens. I'll get a screen shot up to show you what it looks like.

Ah and yes, I usually rotate and work with the actual pixel size on, I only zoom for detailing certain objects.
