Default Help printing process separations

Help! I am using Photoshop 4.0 with a post-script enabled Epson photo 1270 inkjet printer. I have jumped through all the hoops to create cmyk separations using photoshop, but when I try to print the film, I end up with no screen printable dots! I have checked the box in the print window that says "print separations", and the rip software from epson is working properly (or so it appears). The printer is separating the cmyk, but is printing a very fine gradient, but in no way is it screen printable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Screen printable, you mean Silkscreening?
You might want to apply a halftone screen yourself, using the filters, or the conversion to black and white on each channel.
