Hi Everybody

I've been inactive for a while. therefore, I'm out of the information loop. I learned on PST that our keeper has retired and Glaussian (formerly known by me as g-man) is the new Keeper. I've been checking around for announcements but ... none. Did I miss an announcement?

Also congratulations Glaussian... it's a big step but you have a loyal following. I've been really busy but I'll try to be around more to enjoy the fun.

I would also like to personally thank the Keeper Mark for all his patience and support and knowledge over the years. What a founder! Couldn't imagine better and I wish you well in any future endeavors. Seek and you will find.

Joy, I checked your account settings and they're exactly the way they should be.? I also noticed the list of threads for which you want to receive notification, including this one, so you have indeed ordered the system to notify you, but like you said, you don't receive those E-mails.

So I did a test and clicked on the notify button for this thread while being logged on as Gaussian (and I have the same notification settings like you). Then I logged in with the test_member account and replied to this thread. A few seconds later I did indeed receive a notification E-mail for account Gaussian.

So to me it seems that either your E-mail address is incorrect or that photoshopgurus.com is blocked in your local or server anti-spam software.

Thanks for all the thorough checking G-man. Seems all ok on your end so it must be mine. Maybe Verizon is bouncing it, if you are sending to my site joyforakeratdeliversuccessdotcom, my filters will forward it to my addy at Verizon. Verizon has been vigorous about bouncing mail - it fact there is a current lawsuit against them specifically regarding their enthasiaum.

If you can change my address easily, maybe it would be better to send to joyfully2atyahoodotcom that way we bypass my site mail box and Verizon.

ljiljana, let me explain a few things. Please look at the attachment.
In your profile you can click on Notifications and Email (A).
Notifications are not turned on by default (B) when you reply to a post.
If you want to have a notification of every thread you post in, then you need to check that box (B).
If you only want to have control over individual notifications, then you should leave that box empty after which you have two options:

1. to receive notifications of every post you make in a specific forum, like for example General Photoshop Board. In that case you have to enter that forum and click on the notify button that you cna find at the top or bottom of that forum.

2. to receive notifications of every post you make in a specific thread.? In that you case you can click on the notify button at the top or bottom of that specfic thread.

Also make sure that your E-mail address is still correct. Check this by clicking on the profile button at the top of your screen. On the page that opens you'll see your current E-mail address.
