Created this over the weekend from scratch. (no source images) My explanation: "It's called the eye of omniscience because it's supposed to give some kind of view into the future. Obviously it's not supposed to be realistic, and the kind of modern/industrial feel I gave to it mixed with organic was inspired by reading stories of androids and such as a child. call it sadistic or optimistic, it's all in the eye of the beholder."
Can somebody please tell me what I do that makes people not want to post in my threads? I mean, I don't really know, but I never get any replies and it kind of annoys me...
It's not you buddy, the board has been a bit slow.
As for your eye, it's nicely done - looks like a glassy kind of sculpture thingy. I would suggest adding some more highlights though. Refer to the tutorial under the photoshopgurus.com tutorial section. It's the one with the glass amber orb. It will give your image a lot more depth.
