Hi (again)

I'm not that active in here, but I do visit the boards pretty often.
So please excuse my irregularity

Well, I'm now working as a Senior Engineer at the University of Stavanger, Norway.

and for those interested, I got the job :-) )

Anyhow. My job is to assist (and lecture) students in Flash, Premiere, Audition and ofcourse Photoshop.

Although, what I'm about to show you is for my own reference and teaching/development.

I'm fascinated by blending modes and have made myself some references in that matter.
Is anyone else interested in this? Does anyone else know about similar references?
(It's really worth the study in doing this but alas, its so timeconsuming)

Hey, you from Ireland....sweet! I wish I were there.
Anyway, I did find your examples interesting, LeMort. I came up with a technique like that a while back. I've always prefered softlight instead of overlay because it seems a little harsh, but It does depend on the effect your trying to accomplish. I also like taking the overlayed layer and either cranking up the saturation or turning it down all the way to get different results. It's fun expirementing with filters too.
