Default Welcome!

Hi!

This is the future forum for folks who want to use Photoshop in combination with your favorite modeling programs.

I'll be posting content this week. For right now, does anyone have a topic wish list?

My Best,

Gare

Shiny!!

How about making Poser models look less...

Poser?

**edit**
erp... hit 'Save' a bit too quickly, there. Actually, while I am interested in the Poser thing, I'm actually more interested in learning how to interject Photoshopping goodness into the middle of compositing. For example, when is it appropriate for a given look to render a scene in bits and pieces so each element can be layered up separately... like a standard landscape kind of thing when you might want to render some parts out to 2D for PS work, then stick 'em back into the 3D world as flat images.

Is there a reason I am getting email from this thread? Is it some sort of spam from here? (I registered a few years ago and have never got any email until this week)

OMG people it's a simple welcome notice what's the big deal here?
I swear people have gotten so paranoid about SPAM! they're afraid to do ANYthing anymore.

I'm not sure myself how the email got sent to members, but...
If the email isn't trying to SELL or PEDAL you something, then there's a very good chance it's NOT spam. And that should just be common sense.

And btw folks... this site/forum will NEVER send out SPAM... ever, period!
So please don't make that accusation here.

Sorry to hijack your thread Gare.
Feel free to delete this post.

In fact... delete all the replies except for Scott's (lokki).

Default A clarification and an apology

Folks, it is I and not Mark who is to blame for the announcement.

I acted in haste to get the new forums up and running, and in advanced posting options, I accidently clicked the Announcement button.

? It's not a "Bush thing"; I openly make my politics clear, and am positively against SPAM and the invasion of privacy. The email everyone received contained nothing to sell, no polls, no malware, no gift cards or advertisements for marital accessories [saywhat]. It was just an announcement about what will become an important resource for Photoshoppists who also work with modeling/rendering programs.

? The announcement went out automatically to registered PSG members through internal php means; I do not have anyone's email address nor would I want them--I have zero interest in data-mining.

My apologies again, and if you'd like to ream me personally, all you do is click on my name above my avatar--please don't muddy up the posting list with objections--it's sort of like fighting SPAM with SPAM...Internet bandwidth becomes the victim.

My Best,

Gare
