Hello everybody,
Coming here after a decade ..

I am in europe and could someone inform me North America's stds for a typical business card.And how much bleed margin is to be given...

The standard U.S. business card is 3.5 x 2" the most common layout is 8-up, 8-out on an 8-1/2 x 11 sheetsize allowing 1/8" for bleed, per card. Here's a template for style only I don't guarantee that it's precise as far as screen size is concerned.

Just another thing does anybody know where on the web can I find std. sizes for enveloppes and letter heads .I mean a site one can trust.did some googling only found individual printer sites.... thanks

thanks again... what a coincidence I was looking at this site.One last thing (i am sure) whats enclosure size for an envelope. Example for number 10 commercial
size is 9 1/2 " 41/8" then they mention enclosure size.... i am searching everywhere for the definition.
