Default Adobe releases their Aperture-killer

Adobe Lightroom is in beta and can be downloaded at http://labs.macromedia.com/technologies/lightroom/
Evidently, Adobe considers Apple Aperture to be a threat--Lightroom was deveoped for the Mac first, with a Windows beta forthcoming.

My take on both Aperture and Lightroom is that both companies are just trying to expand the market. Neither product does RAW file handling any better than Photoshop, and if you just need a cataloger, you can get iMatch for $60.

Here's a screen shot.

My Best,

Gare

Thanks for the news flash Gare.

Yeah seems a little redundant doesn't it?
Expanding the market indeed.
