Last week marked the end of a true American Hero, Rosa Parks. For those of use too young to remember the 60s, Rose refused to give up her seat on an Alabama public bus to a white guy, was arrested because the bus was segregated (a cute term for rascism), and this event encouraged Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and others to banish this crap, largely practiced in the South.
Rosa lies in state at the Capitol, the first time in decades this has happened. When she was alive, President Clinton awarded he a Congressional medal.
An exemplary Christian, woman, and US citizen passes at age 92.
