Lately I've been getting the message Photoshop CS2 has unexpectedly quit when ever I open the application on my Mac running 10.4 Tiger. I haven't been worried about it much as it's no biggy to reopen it, today however I got a new one it was when I tried to open Browse... in the File menu.
I got the message "The application Bridge has unexpectedly quit" this is the first time it has happened and it's not letting me open it. I've tried 3 times and each time I get the warning message.
Has anyone got any ideas what is wrong.
Thanks.
Permissions is a good start. Then try trashing preferences. At that point I tend to go into a full diagnostic and maintenance routine. This morning PS CS2 was acting strange on my computer (an extensively upgraded G4 running 10.2.4) and DiskWarrior resolved the issue. It was working fine last night but this morning wouldn't open any files...just go into a 'not responding' mode while sucking up 100% of the CPU cycles. Good Luck!
