I hope someone can help me. I'm new to photoshop and would like to remove the text off a picture. i want the background to remain the same. can someone tell me what I must do to achieve this.

It would be helpful if you could show us the picture in which your trying to remove text, but basicly, you need to use the stamp tool and healing brush if you want to keep the backround the same.

...or maybe the clone tool. As p?tr??k says, we'd need to see the image as different techniques will work better given the original material.
