Very cool. I like what you are doing with this. Are you planning on using this as an actual skin or is this an artistic experiment?

mostly, I'm experimenting. I DL'd a realplayer toolkit to build a rp skin but I can't find the equivalent for winamp. Being relatively dumb, I won't be able to figure it out for myself. So I'll continue to develope this skin and, what I think may be, componant parts ( buttons etc.) and mytbe I'll find a toolkit for it.
Until then, it's an exercise in futility. [the best laid plans of mice and men...never work]

Aha...I was a little vague on the Winamp concept until this version. I had to google 'Winamp' skins to find out it's a major field of Windows' creative mods. \:/

Winamp skins are very popular. I wonder if there is similar things I could do for i-tunes?

don't know if i-tunes will support skinning, I'll find out. I know that Real Player is and I think WMP is but then Microsoft is as anal as Apple.

I've never heard of skinning iTunes so I rather doubt it unless it's a system wide hack (at least on a Mac).
