I know someone's mum who gets up at 5, then gets the 7am train, 2 hour train+tube journey, then a 15 minute walk.
Doesn't get home till about 7:30 iirc.

I'm going to a gig in London tomorrow night, should be easy enough getting from Victoria to Tottenham Court Road without the tube, I guess.

tube from kings cross to old street on northen line this morning was pretty quite this morning
